Brujeria 成立於 1989 年的美國洛杉磯，由來自墨西哥裔社群的音樂人組成，是極端金屬史上最具話題性與爭議性的團體之一。樂團以西班牙語演唱，結合死亡金屬、Grindcore 與 Hardcore 的暴力能量，並透過毒梟文化、邊境議題、政治諷刺與反宗教意象，打造出獨樹一格的極端美學。

Brujeria 的傳奇地位，來自於他們將拉丁裔文化與極端金屬前所未有地融合。1993 年發行的經典專輯《Matando Güeros》，以瘋狂高速的 Deathgrind 衝擊力、粗暴直接的吉他音牆，以及充滿禁忌與暴力色彩的主題震撼地下樂界。隨後的《Raza Odiada》則進一步強化 Groove 與死亡金屬元素，成為許多樂迷心中的代表作，也讓 Brujeria 成為拉丁極端金屬最具代表性的名字之一。

在形象塑造上，Brujeria 同樣影響深遠。樂團長年以化名示人，成員蒙面、手持砍刀，自稱遭 FBI 通緝的毒梟組織，刻意模糊現實與虛構的界線。這種結合街頭暴力、犯罪傳說與地下文化的設定，不僅成為樂團最鮮明的標誌，也讓他們在極端金屬世界中建立出難以取代的傳奇色彩。

Brujeria 的現場如同一場失控的暴動。高速鼓擊、鋸齒般的吉他聲牆與充滿煽動性的西班牙語怒吼交織而成，將死亡金屬的殘暴、Grindcore 的瘋狂與 Hardcore 的街頭能量徹底釋放。整體演出充滿壓迫感與破壞力，彷彿把觀眾直接拖入邊境地帶最混亂黑暗的一面。

9 月 17 日，這支拉丁極端金屬傳奇將首度降臨台灣。對於所有熱愛 Death Metal、Grindcore 與極端金屬文化的樂迷而言，這將是一個見證傳奇的機會。

Brujeria was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1989 by musicians from the Mexican-American community, and remains one of the most controversial and talked-about acts in the history of extreme metal. Performing entirely in Spanish, the band combines the violent intensity of Death Metal, Grindcore, and Hardcore, while drawing upon narcoculture, border politics, social satire, and anti-religious imagery to create a uniquely provocative aesthetic.

Brujeria’s legendary status comes from their unprecedented fusion of Latino culture and extreme metal. Their landmark 1993 debut album *Matando Güeros* shocked the underground scene with its blistering Deathgrind assault, savage guitar work, and themes filled with violence, taboo, and provocation. Its successor, *Raza Odiada*, further incorporated Groove Metal influences while maintaining the band’s brutal edge, becoming one of their most celebrated releases and cementing Brujeria as the definitive name in Latin extreme metal.

Visually, Brujeria has been equally influential. For decades, the band performed under aliases, appearing masked and wielding machetes while presenting themselves as a cartel-like organization supposedly wanted by the FBI. This deliberate blurring of fiction and reality became one of the group's most recognizable trademarks, helping establish an enduring mythology within extreme metal culture.

A Brujeria live performance feels like controlled chaos on the verge of collapse. Relentless blast beats, razor-sharp guitar riffs, and aggressive Spanish-language vocals collide to unleash the full force of Death Metal brutality, Grindcore madness, and Hardcore street energy. The atmosphere is intense, hostile, and explosive, as if the audience has been pulled directly into the darkest and most violent corners of the borderlands.

On September 17, this legendary force of Latin extreme metal will make its long-awaited arrival in Taiwan. For fans of Death Metal, Grindcore, and uncompromising extreme music, this is more than just a concert—it is a rare opportunity to witness a true underground legend in the flesh.
